Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the most common questions in our database
General
You have several options to connect to a server:
- Open CS2 and type
connect zeus.csko.gg:27015in console - Click the "Connect" button on the servers page
- Add the server to favorites via Steam
Basic rules apply to all servers:
- No cheats, hacks or exploits
- Respect other players
- No spam in chat
- Use appropriate name
Breaking rules may result in temporary or permanent ban.
Support runs alongside operating the servers, so replies are not instant – we handle tickets continuously in the order they arrive. You can see the ticket status under Support → My tickets and we notify you about every reply by e-mail or Discord.
For anything urgent (a cheater on the server right now, a server that is down) write on Discord – an admin is usually online faster there.
The more precise the ticket, the faster the reply:
- pick the right category – for unban, admin application or a technical issue the form tells you what to add
- include the server name, time and player names
- attach a screenshot or demo (max 5 files, 10 MB each)
- for website issues mention your browser and device
Reply inside the ticket, do not open a new one for the same matter.
Servers
csko.gg runs servers for Public, Competitive, Deathmatch, Retake, AWP, Surf, Bhop, Arena and Fun.
The full list with status, current map and player count is on the homepage – the mode buttons above the list filter the servers for you. Join with the Connect button or with connect IP:port in the console.
Most people play during prime time from 20:00 to 23:00, every day. That is when Competitive, Retake and Deathmatch servers fill up.
Looking for teammates outside those hours? Ask on our Discord – the community organises games there during the day too.
The servers run on dedicated hardware in Central Europe, so ping from Slovakia and Czechia should be low. If it is not:
- Try another server – each one runs separately
- Use a cable instead of Wi-Fi and pause background downloads
- Restart your router and the game
- Turn on
net_graph 1in the console and watch loss and choke
If the problem only appears on our servers and keeps happening, open a ticket in the Technical category with the server name and a tracert to its IP.
Type !report in the in-game chat and pick the player – the report goes to the admins. Use it only for cheating, toxicity or griefing, abusing reports is against the rules.
If no admin is online, open a ticket with the server name, time, player name (ideally the Steam profile too) and a demo or recording. Without evidence there is little we can do.
Skinchanger
The csko.gg skinchanger is a server-side feature. You download nothing, install nothing and do not modify the game – you pick skins on the website and the server shows them when you join.
VAC inspects your client, which we never touch. The skins are visible only on our servers, elsewhere you play with your normal inventory.
- Sign in with Steam (the same account you play with)
- Open Skins in the top menu
- Switch the CT or T side and click a weapon, knife, gloves, agent or music kit
- Pick a skin, set the wear (float), StatTrak™ or a name tag and press Apply
The change shows up on the server at your next spawn or after reconnecting. In game, !ws or !skins opens the quick menu.
Credits (CR) are the skinchanger currency. Most skins are free, credits are only needed for premium and legendary ones.
How to earn them:
- Playing – 2 credits for every 15 minutes of active play on our servers
- VIP purchases – every VIP package includes bonus credits
- Publishing a loadout – 5 CR for publishing and 10 % of the credits other players spend when using it
Unlocks are permanent. Buying Factory New also unlocks every lower wear of that skin.
A preset is a saved complete loadout (skins for both sides, knife, gloves, agent, music kit). You can save several and switch between them with one click – say one for Retake and another for Surf.
You can also publish a preset. Other players find it under Public loadouts and apply it with one click, and you earn credits for it.
Check these points:
- You are signed in on the website with the same Steam account you play with
- The skin is set for the right side – CT and T loadouts are separate
- The change applies at your next spawn, or disconnect and reconnect
- In game try
!ws– the menu shows what the server has stored for you
If it still fails, open a ticket in the Technical category with the server name and the weapon involved.
Yes. On csko.gg servers everyone sees your skins, knife, gloves and agent, just like you see theirs. It works in all of our game modes.
Outside our servers (matchmaking, other communities) the skinchanger does nothing – there you play with your real inventory.
Account
Linking your Steam account is simple:
- Click "Login with Steam" button on the main page
- Log in to Steam (if not logged in)
- Confirm the link
After linking, you'll have access to all features.
Open Profile settings (click your avatar top right) and find the connections section:
- E-mail – enter the address and confirm it with the link from the verification message
- Discord – click Connect Discord and allow access
You need a connection for ticket notifications and for giveaways (a verified e-mail is required to enter). Tickets can only be created with a verified e-mail so we can tell you about the reply.
We read the name and avatar from Steam when you sign in. Log out of the website and sign in again to refresh them. Steam sometimes takes a few minutes to propagate the change, so if nothing happens wait a bit and try again.
Open a ticket in the Account category asking for deletion. We remove the profile, connections, skinchanger loadout and ticket history. Ban records and data we must keep by law stay anonymised.
The account cannot be restored – VIP, credits and unlocked skins are lost on deletion.
Bans and penalties
- Sign in and open Support → Create ticket
- Choose the Unban request category
- Say whether it is a game server or Discord ban – the form loads your active bans, just pick the right one
- Describe honestly what happened and why the ban should be lifted
One ticket per ban. Repeated requests without new arguments get closed. Current bans are also listed on the website.
Bans are temporary or permanent depending on severity. The most common reasons:
- cheats, scripts and bug abuse
- ghosting and griefing teammates
- insults, racism, hate speech
- chat or microphone spam
- advertising other servers
- impersonating an admin
The full text is on the Rules page. Allowed languages are Slovak, Czech and English.
Open a ticket in the Admin application category. The form loads your CS2 hours from Steam and your hours on our servers automatically, you fill in your nickname, age, why you want to be an admin, what you bring to the project and your experience.
What counts: active play on our servers, knowing the rules, a calm attitude and being known in the community. Accepted applicants are contacted through the ticket or Discord.
GG League
GG Liga is a competitive CS2 league for Slovak and Czech teams. It runs in seasons, teams are split into divisions, matches use map veto and results feed the standings and ELO.
How to start:
- Sign in with Steam and open League
- Create a team and invite teammates (or accept an invite to an existing team)
- Register the team for the season while it is in the Registration phase
- Matches, opponents and dates are in the season detail and under My team
The rules live under League → Rules – they apply to every season and you accept them when registering a team. Schedule, standings and results are in the current season detail, your upcoming matches also under My team.
We notify you about a new match, veto result or date change on the website and through your linked e-mail or Discord.
Giveaways
Giveaways are under Giveaways. Sign in with Steam, open a running giveaway and click Enter.
- Every entrant gets 1 base entry
- Credits earned by playing during the giveaway give you extra entries – the more you play, the better your odds
- The winner is drawn randomly by entry weight, the draw is public and the result is shown on the website and on Discord
Entry requirements (linked Steam, verified e-mail, a Steam trade link for skin prizes, sometimes VIP) are always listed in the giveaway detail.
Billing
VIP membership gives you:
- Reserved slots on servers
- Exclusive skins and models
- Access to VIP commands
- Special prefix in chat
- Priority support
Technical
Try these steps:
- Check if CS2 is running
- Verify the server is online (green dot on page)
- Restart Steam and the game
- Check your firewall settings
If the problem persists, contact us via Discord or create a ticket.
You can set up skins in two ways:
- In game: Type
!wsor!skinsin chat - On web: Go to Skins section in your profile
Changes will take effect after next spawn.
Try this in order:
- In Steam verify the integrity of the game files for CS2
- Update your graphics drivers and disable overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience, Steam overlay)
- Delete the server download folder:
Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/game/csgo/download - Test another of our servers – if only one crashes, it is a specific map or plugin
If it keeps happening, open a ticket in Technical → Server with the server name, map and time of the crash.
