Professional Infrastructure
Running a good community server network takes a lot more than renting a VPS and uploading configs. At csko.gg, we have built our infrastructure from the ground up with a single focus – giving players the smoothest possible CS2 experience. Every server is deployed through automated pipelines, monitored continuously, and maintained by people who actually play on them. When something goes wrong at 3 AM, we know about it before players do. We invest in proper hardware, proper networking, and proper tooling because cutting corners on infrastructure means cutting corners on your gameplay.
Swiftly S2 – Our Mod Manager
All csko.gg servers run on Swiftly S2 – an open-source CS2 server mod manager built for modern server administration. Swiftly provides a clean plugin architecture that lets us develop and deploy features independently without one broken plugin taking down the whole server. It handles event routing, configuration management, and cross-plugin communication efficiently. Our skinchanger, game mode logic, admin tools, and stat tracking all run as separate Swiftly plugins – modular, testable, and independently updatable.
Server Locations
Our servers are hosted in Central European data centers – providing excellent ping for players across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, and the wider CE region. We specifically chose facilities with premium network peering and redundant uplinks. The result: low, consistent latency and minimal packet loss even during evening peak hours when everyone is online. Most players in our core region connect with under 20ms ping.
Performance & Stability
Every csko.gg server runs on dedicated hardware with high clock-speed CPUs optimized for game server workloads – not shared cloud instances that throttle under load. We maintain rock-solid 128-tick performance with no drops, backed by automated monitoring that pages our team the moment any metric drifts outside acceptable range. If a server's tick rate drops, if memory usage spikes, or if a plugin throws errors – we are on it immediately. Our network-wide uptime sits above 99.5%, and we are always working to push that higher.
Anti-Cheat Protection
Fair play is non-negotiable. Our servers run multiple layers of anti-cheat protection on top of Valve's built-in VAC system. We use behavioral analysis to flag suspicious activity automatically – things like inhuman reaction times, impossible spray patterns, or movement anomalies that humans simply do not produce. Our admin team reviews flagged cases and player reports promptly. Confirmed cheaters get permanently banned from the entire csko.gg network, no appeals. We want every player to know that the fights they take on our servers are fair.
Regular Updates
When Valve drops a CS2 update, our servers are among the first to be patched and back online. Our automated CI/CD pipeline handles the entire deployment process – pulling new builds, running compatibility checks, updating plugins, and rolling out across the network. We can go from "Valve just released an update" to "all servers are live on the new version" in minutes, not hours. The same pipeline handles our own feature releases and bug fixes, so players always get improvements fast.
