What is a Skinchanger?
A skinchanger lets you change how your weapons look on community servers – any skin, any knife, any gloves, without actually owning the items. Now, there are sketchy client-side skinchangers floating around the internet that modify your game files and put your Steam account at risk. Ours is nothing like that. The csko.gg skinchanger runs entirely on the server side. When you join one of our servers, our system tells your game client what skins to render – your CS2 installation stays completely untouched. No downloads, no injections, no VAC risk. Just pick your skins and play.
How It Works
Our skinchanger is built into every csko.gg server as a Swiftly S2 plugin. Setting up your loadout is quick and straightforward – three steps and you are playing with any skin you want.
Choose Your Skin
Browse the full CS2 skin catalog using our web-based inventory editor at csko.gg. You can search by weapon type, skin name, or collection. Want a specific knife? Filter by knife type and scroll through every finish available. Prefer doing it in-game? Our servers have an interactive menu you can open at any time to browse and equip skins without leaving the server. The catalog includes every skin Valve has ever released – nothing is locked or hidden.
Set Parameters
This is where it gets fun. You have full control over every detail – set a precise float value down to the decimal to get exactly the wear level you want, place specific stickers on any of the four positions, dial in a particular pattern seed (yes, you can give yourself that Blue Gem AK), and toggle StatTrak on or off. You can even preview how everything looks before committing. The level of customization matches or exceeds what you would get with real items – except here, it costs you nothing.
Connect to Server
Save your loadout, connect to any csko.gg server, and your skins are applied the instant you join. There is no setup delay, no waiting for anything to sync. Switch servers, switch game modes – your loadout follows you everywhere across our network. If you change your skins through the web editor while already on a server, the update applies on the next round. Zero friction.
