What is a Competitive server
The competitive server uses the same rules as official matchmaking: 5 versus 5, MR12 with halftime, the buy system, a knife round and overtime on a draw. The difference is that the server runs with us, with anticheat, admins and no matchmaking queue.
Every match is recorded. K/D, ADR, headshot percentage, clutches and ELO live in your csko.gg profile so you can see yourself improve. The stats also feed the leaderboard, which resets every month.
If you want organised matches, look at the csko.gg League. Teams challenge opponents in Clanbase, play with a built-in veto and the match server starts automatically.
Tips for newcomers
- Bring a microphone, communication decides most rounds.
- The knife round wins a side, not a round, agree with your team what to pick.
- Watch your ADR in the profile, it is the best indicator of consistency.
- Have a team? Create it in the League and challenge anyone in Clanbase.
